Oct. 30

Benjamin Phillip Petras pleaded no contest to possession of a drug which may not be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from original felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a controlled substance. 

The court ordered 85 days in jail with 85 days credit for time served. 





Cathi Jill Crutcher pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge. The court ordered a fine of $1,000 + $140 administrative assessment with credit for one day time served.  





Oct. 31

Jeremy David Gaines pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful trespass. The court ordered 12 days in jail with 12 days credit for time served. 





Nov. 1

Felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and receiving, possessing or withholding stolen property against Michael Paul Schroeder were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office. In another case, a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia against Shroeder was also dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office. 





At a bench trial, Jacob Andres Sanchez was found not guilty of a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, amended from a battery charge. 

He was found guilty of disturbing the peace, a lesser included charge. The court ordered a fine of $250 + $105 administrative assessment. 

The court ordered ten days jail time, suspended on the condition the defendant pay fines within 30 days. The defendant is to have no like violations and was ordered minimal contact with the victim or the victim’s boyfriend when in public. 





Nov. 2

Kevin Jack Domingo pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, first offense. The court ordered 48 hours of community service and a fine of $400 + $125 + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. 

The defendant is to complete a victim impact panel and DUI school. Pursuant to plea negotiations, a misdemeanor charge of a vehicle entering an intersection marked stop or yield was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office. 





Nov. 5

At a bench trial, Beverly Ann Guimont was found guilty of three counts of misdemeanor breach of peace charges. The court ordered a fine of $100 + $75. The court ordered ten days in jail with jail time suspended on the condition the defendant pay fines within 30 days. The defendant is to have no like violations of the law.
