The Lowry High School volleyball squad finished up the year last week by hosting Churchill County (Fallon) in a five-set loss.
“I am very proud of the way our team competed all year,” said Lowry coach Brandon Eastman. “We didn’t have the results that we were expecting, but I really like the way we battled through the season to try to turn things around. There were times throughout the year when I was really pleased with our level of play, our energy, and our effort. We also saw a lot of good things from all three levels of our program that I think we can build from in the future. I think that not making the playoffs this season will help the girls realize what we need to do better moving forward, and the level of play that is required to qualify for the post-season. They can use it as a little bit of motivation.”
The Lady Bucks finished the season with a 5-13 league record and were 8-16 overall. Lowry missed out on the playoffs
