We are a group of local citizens that are volunteering our time to help transport voters to and from their local polling place on Election Day, Tuesday Nov. 6.
Anyone who is a registered voter of Humboldt County Precincts 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,14, or 15 and needs a ride to the polling place (West Hall of the Convention Center at 50 W Winnemucca Blvd in Winnemucca) may contact us to schedule a pickup from their home or place of employment. We will be offering this free and voluntary service from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday Nov. 6.
We ask that all registered voters who request this service refrain from political talk, do not tip the driver, and do not bring beverages or food into the vehicle during transportation. If you need assistance please call 775-666-0197 to schedule a time for your ride to vote.
