Obituary: Bonnie Jean Miller

Bonnie Jean Miller passed away on May 9th, 2018, two months after her husband Stewart Miller passed away. They were married for 32 years.

Bonnie was born Feb 19th 1943, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to parents, J. Richard Frum and Esther Ruth Palmer.

Bonnie attended Jackson Township in Massillon, Ohio from elementary school through her junior year of high school. The family moved to Sunnyvale, California where she completed her senior year at Sunnyvale High School, graduating in 1960.

Bonnie was employed at various jobs until she graduated from San Jose City Jr College with an AA degree. Soon after graduation she was hired at Lockheed (now Lockheed/Martin) in Sunnyvale, Ca. where she worked as an administrative secretary for many years. Tiring from the hectic California lifestyle & traffic, she moved to Battle Mountain, Nevada where she met and married Stewart Miller.

Bonnie is survived by her son Kenneth Richard Broadway, her granddaughter Jennifer Broadway and great-grandson, Tobeas.  Ken lives in Texas. Jen & Toby live in Colorado.

Bonnie is also survived by her younger sister Patty Borg in San Jose, Ca. She has an uncle and several cousins in various states, most residing in Pennsylvania. She also is survived by her step children Debbie, Angie, Lynn & Leigh all in New York and Stewart Jr in Nevada. Bonnie kept in close contact with all her family and really enjoyed seeing pictures of family and hearing about their lives.

Bonnie will be cremated.  She requested her ashes be scattered over the California hills on the riding trails where she, her sister and their friends rode their horses (her favorite hobby) many years ago. Although she eventually had to leave her beloved horses behind, they lived on in her heart.

The family would like to thank Bonnie’s friends who helped her & Stewart, the past few years, which included her neighbor, Curtis, Pastor Judy, Stewart Jr, Janet and several other friends who sat with and helped Bonnie in her time of need.

We would especially like to thank her best friend, Theresa Myers, who was helpful to both Bonnie and Stewart day and night, the past few months.

To Theresa: Words cannot express our gratitude, love and appreciation for all you’ve done for both Bonnie and Stewart.

We will be forever grateful for your unending love, care and patience with Bonnie, sitting by her side until the end of her life. Thank you!
