April 19

Michael John Delarosa IV pleaded guilty at a bench trial for driving under the influence 1st offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of 2 years, stayed jail time on the condition he serve 2 days. He was given credit for 2 days time served and ordered to pay $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. He was given credit for 4 days time served. He is to complete DUI school by July 30 and complete the victim impact panel by Sept. 22. He was ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Separate charges of open container, entering intersection marked stop/yield and driving on highway with multiple lanes were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.



April 20

Maureen Casey Niemi pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, 1st offense. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of 2 years. She was given credit for 1 day time served and she can do 24 hours in jail or complete 24 hours of community service in 60 days. She was ordered to pay $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. She is to continue level II counseling in lieu of DUI school. She was ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Separate charges of open container and driving on highway having multiple lanes for traffic were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.



April 25

Dennis Wayne Desersa pleaded guilty to an amended misdemeanor charge of public intoxication and no contest to an amended charge of urinating/defecating in public prohibited. He was fined $1000 + $140 AA Fees. He was given credit for 8 days jail time served.

April 27

Trenton Crutcher pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor minor in consumption of alcohol charge. He was fined $250 + $105 AA, was given credit for time served and released from custody.



Donovan Page Walker pleaded guilty to an amended gross misdemeanor charge of battery. He was sentenced to 90 days in the Humboldt County Jail, to be suspended on the condition that he pay his fines in full. He was fined $1000 + $140 AA.

In a separate case, Donovan Page Walker pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of 2 years. He was ordered to pay fines of $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. He was ordered to complete DUI school and the victim impact panel. He was ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Other charges of driving on the highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic, no proof of current insurance and vehicle entering intersection marked stop or yield were dropped as part of the plea agreement.
