Stewart James Miller passed away after a brief illness on March 8thh, 2018. Stewart was born June 14th, 1939 in upstate New York.
His parents were Herbert J. Miller & Anna Stewart Vosburgh. He attended Moravia Central School from kindergarten until his graduation in 1957.
After high school he spent a year attending college agriculture classes to work on his Dads farm. Stewart was always a hard worker, at age 10 he started milking cows for local farmers for a dollar a day and was able to buy his first Lionel Train set with his own money.
His first job was at Morris Chain Company and then Stauffer Chemical. When they started laying people off in New York, he packed up and headed to the mines in Nevada. He started at Dresser Minerals and then to Baker Hughes, where he retired 13 years ago.
Stewart is survived by 3 daughters Debbie, Angie & Terry from his first wife Anne Wood.
He has a son Stewart and 2 daughters Lynn & Leigh from his second wife Cynthia Story. He is also survived by a stepson Kenneth Broadway.
He spent his last 32 years married to Bonnie Jean Miller. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. His ashes will be laid to rest in New York with his parents.
There will be services at a later date in Moravia, New York.
