David John Nelson pleaded no contest to unlawful trespass upon land and battery. He was sentenced to $100 + $95 on the trespass charge and fined $1,000 + $140 AA on the battery charge. The court added a $200 late fee/warrant fee. The total of $1,535 in fines and fees were converted to credit for time already served in jail.

Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia against Larayne Fae Indermuhle were dismissed in justice court on a motion by the Humboldt County DA’s Office.
Sean J. Dodson pleaded guilty to an amended charge of possession of a drug which may not be introduced into interstate commerce. The amended charge was the result of plea negotiations with the Humboldt County DA’s Office. Dodson was originally charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 22 days already served. 58 of the remaining 68 days were suspended for one year on the condition the defendant has no further like violations.
In a separate case, Sean J. Dodson pleaded guilty to drawing a deadly weapon in a threatening manner. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail, with credit for four days already served. The judge suspended the remaining 16 days for two years on condition the defendant obtain a mental health and substance abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations. Those evaluations were finally completed while Dodson was in jail. He was ordered to follow the recommendation that he attend Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous meetings and provide proof of attendance to the court.
A charge against Christopher Marriott of resiting a public officer was dismissed on a motion by the Humboldt County DA’s Office.
