Alexis Moises Acevedo reached a plea agreement with the Humboldt County DA’s Office to plead guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license and driving an unregistered vehicle. In return, the HCDA’s Office agreed to drop charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle with no evidence of insurance located within. Acevedo was fined $100 + $95 AA for driving without a valid driver’s license. He was fined $250 + $105 AA for driving an unregistered vehicle. The defendant was given credit of $200 for two days already served in jail and the court suspended the remaining $355 for three months on the condition he has no further like violations and provides proof of valid vehicle registration to the court.
Ryan Paul Ashlock pleaded guilty to DUI. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for two years. The defendant was given credit for two days already served in jail. He was fined $400 + $125AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 Special DUI fee. He was given credit of $500 for five additional days jail time already served. DUI School and Victim Impact Panel were both ordered. The defendant has been sentenced by District Court on another matter to a prison sentence of 12-36 months. Additional counts of driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked and no proof of insurance or current registration were dropped pursuant to negotiations with the Humboldt County DA’s Office.
In a separate case involving Ryan Paul Ashlock, the Humboldt County DA’s Office reached a plea agreement and filed amended charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs not to be introduced into interstate commerce, both misdemeanors. The defendant pleaded guilty to the amended charges. On the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, the defendant was given credit for seven days already served in jail and for count two, the defendant was given credit for 11 days already served in jail – to run concurrent.
In a third case involving Ryan Paul Ashlock. The Humboldt County DA’s Office made a motion to dismiss a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. The court granted the HCDA’s Office motion to dismiss.
Kyle Dana Missouri pleaded no contest to an amended misdemeanor charge. Pursuant to a plea agreement with the Humboldt County DA’s Office, if Missouri pays restitution in the case, the HCDA’s Office agreed to amend count one to due care and to dismiss a second charge of failure to yield.
