Bowling Solutions wins 2018 Don Peters Memorial Tourney

Bowling Solutions won the 2018 Don Peters Memorial Tournament held in the first weekend of February at Spare Time Bowl.

The Winnemucca Inn provided $2,800 in prize money and Winners Inn contributed $1,000. Nearly 110 bowlers, with 94 of them from out of town. Over $10,000 in prize money was awarded as 36 teams competed.

Bowling Solutions won the top prize of $3,000 and team members include Jacob Dobkins, Nick Wheeler and Shawn Horenberger.

Peterbilt Truck Parts (Casey Knutson, Alex Suponch, Cesar Rojas) finished second and earned $2,500.

GDY (Andrew Gatrell, Jennifer Dunbar, Justin Yates) placed third and won $2,000. FLH & 2 Righties (Donovan Moreno, Randy Elder, Jayson Hedrick) were fourth and won $1,200.

PDP (James Pinckney, Danny Dunbar, Matt Putzer) placed fifth, and STBB (Bruce Haylett, Julio Martin, Mike Boecher) were sixth.

Broken Arrow (Delbert Strum, Trevor Vlcek, Kevin Owens) placed seventh and No Sleep (Beau LaPlume, Christian Salazar, Jasin Richards) finished in eighth.

The high team game went to Bowl to Win (Jack Kuykendall, Pam Buckner, Charlie Washburn with a 711 series.

Jason Dousharm had the high individual game, with a 299. The high average out of the money went to Kyle Mayhew at 224. 75. Jeff Conradi had the high individual points won/out of the money with 21.

Peterbilt Truck Parts led the way in Saturday’s results, while Kiss Tha Baby and PDP were second and third, respectively.
