Harry A. Meier, 70, Reno, Nv. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St Mary’s after a brief illness,
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Ava Meier. This beautiful couple came together and made a blended family of 5 with 2 sons and a daughter.
Denton (Sandy) Rye of Libby, Mt. Kimmy (Jay) VanDerVeen of Winnemucca, Nv. & Michael Meier of Az.
This blended family produced 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Harry was a mechanic and ran a mobile repair business out of Reno for many years.
While raising the kids he was Denton’s “personal” mechanic for his dirt bike racing.
Harry loved spending time in his garden with his loving wife and great grandchild.
He also gave cash to his grandkids on the “down low”
Harry was a loving, kind, big hearted teddy bear to those he loved and “most” who knew him.
He will be missed and we all will have that empty spot in heart that Harry is not there to fill.
