In a case against Drew Richard McCormick for misdemeanor driving with a suspended or revoked license, the county requested to forfeit the defendant’s cash bail. The cash bail was forfeited.
Timothy Russell Clyde pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of 1 year, stayed jail time on the condition he serve 2 days, he was given credit for 12 hours time served.
He was ordered to complete the 36 hours of jail time or 36 hours of community service within 60 days. He was ordered to pay a fine of $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee.
He was ordered to complete DUI school and victim impact panel. Another charge of vehicle entering an intersection marked stop or yield was waved on a motion by the DA’s office as part of the plea agreement. He was ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician and no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations.

Christopher Joe Escovedo pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) first offense, basic speed, operating a motor vehicle with a cancelled, suspended or revoked drivers license and open container. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of 2 years on the condition he serve 2 days, he was given credit for 2 days served and ordered to pay a fine of $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee.
Fines and fees converted to 7 days jail and credit for time served. He was ordered to complete DUI school and a victim impact panel.
He was ordered to pay $250 public defender reimbursement. He was ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. DUI fees imposed to run concurrent with fees for counts 2, 3 and 4.
A gross misdemeanor charge of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle against Christopher Joe Escovedo was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office without prejudice.
A misdemeanor domestic battery charge against Jamie Faye Rose was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office without prejudice as there was insufficient evidence and incorporative witness.
A felony charge of battery by prisoner against Benjamin Phillip Petras was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office without prejudice.
A misdemeanor charge of harassment against Chad William Crutcher was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office without prejudice.
A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery second offense against Cameron Carrica was dismissed, appearing to the court by evidence and testimony presented that the defendant was not guilty.
A felony charge of failure to appear after admission to bail against Cory James Widner was discharged after determining there was insufficient evidence in the matter.
Carl John Steinke pleaded guilty to driving under the influence first offense. He was sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year, stayed jail time on the condition he serve 2 days or complete 48 hours community service as an alternative.
He was ordered to pay a fine of $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. He was ordered to complete a victim impact panel and DUI school and granted permission to complete both online as he resides in California.
He was ordered to no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. A charge of basic speed 11-20 over was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as part of the plea agreement.
July 13
Franklin Shawn Dick pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication. He was fined $250 + $105 AA. The court did not impose the warrant fee and late fee due to defendant being in custody in Washoe County at time of arraignment.
He was given credit for 3 days time served and the balance of $55 was suspended for 3 months on the condition of no further violations and he was released from custody.
July 16
Lukus Paul Daniels pleaded guilty to driving under the influence first offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of 1 year on the condition he serve 2 days and being given credit for 12 hours time served. The judge granted the defendant’s request to convert the remaining 36 hours into community service. He was ordered to pay a fine of $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee.
He was ordered to complete a victim impact panel and DUI school. He was ordered to no alcohol or no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. Other charges of open container and tail lamps were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as part of the plea agreement.
Peggy Sue Hamby pleaded guilty to driving under the influence first offense. She was sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed on the condition she serve 2 days within the next 30 days. She was ordered to pay a fine of $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. She was ordered to complete a victim impact panel and DUI school. She was ordered to no alcohol and no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. Other charges of wireless communications prohibited while driving and fail to drive within marked lanes were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as part of the plea agreement.
July 17
Roger Lee Everhart pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of driving while license is suspended, canceled or revoked and restrictions on tinting of a windshield or side rear window. For count 1 he was ordered to pay a fine of $250 + $105 AA and count 2 he was ordered to pay a fine of $100 + $95 AA. The defendant was admonished on driving with a suspended or revoked license and the court ruled that count 2 will run concurrent with count 1.
