Winnemucca Junior Little League all-stars played on Thursday and Friday for the right to represent District 3 in the state tournament.
Winnemucca took on Silverada (Dayton) on Thursday at noon, while High Desert (Fernley) faced off against Walker River (Yerington) at 3 p.m.
The winner’s bracket continued on Friday at 10 a.m., while the loser’s bracket played at 3 p.m. Results of these games were not available at press time.
The tournament continues today (Saturday) at 10 a.m., with games continuing on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. if needed to crown a champion in this double-elimination tournament.
