The Lowry High School wrestling team began its postseason run with a second-place finish at the Northern 3A Duals this past weekend in Fernley. The Buckaroos knocked off Elko, Fernley, Dayton, South Tahoe, Sparks and Churchill County. The only loss was to defending state champion Spring Creek. The Buckaroos travel to Spring Creek this weekend for the Northern 3A Regional Championships. The top three wrestlers in each weight class advance to the NIAA State Championships on Friday, Feb. 9, in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena.
