On Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 Dee Mendez, 25, of Winnemucca passed away.
Dee was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, friend and coach.
He loved spending time with his wife and two children, fishing and hanging out with friends and of course on the baseball field.
Dee will be forever remembered by his wife Stephanie, their two precious children Dioney Jr. and Jasmyn, his parents Alberto and Patricia, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Janet and Steve Sappington, and by his brothers and sisters Alex Mendez, Tracy, Kyllie and Kyle Sappington.
Dee will also be remembered by his extended family, friends, and baseball players.
A celebration of Dee’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Winnemucca.
