On Feb. 12, WPD cited two juveniles for misdemeanor destruction of property after the two reportedly lit a fire in a restroom. Bail not applicable.

On Feb. 15, NHP arrested Lucas Randall DeYoung, age 36, after a welfare check on a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Interstate 80. The trooper attempted to wake the driver and saw a handgun and body armor on the passenger seat. Deyoung gave a false ID but was eventually positively identified as the subject of an attempt to locate a homicide suspect out of Curry County, Oregon. Deyoung was arrested and charged with two counts of being a fugitive from justice and four counts of being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm. Bail $2,155,000.

On Feb 18, NHP arrested Hailey Dawn Reed Brenneck, age 27, after a traffic stop for speeding. Brenneck was charged with multiple misdemeanor and felony charges including speeding, driving with a suspended license, expired registration, no seatbelt, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, transporting a controlled substance, and trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and possession of a stolen gun  Bail $305,820.

On Feb 18, NHP arrested John David Allan Sim, age 37, who was  Brenneck’s passenger, on multiple misdemeanor and felony charges including no seatbelt, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, transporting a controlled substance and trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a stolen gun.  Bail $305,715.

On Feb. 20, HCSO reported that two individuals got into a fight and made citizen complaints against each other for misdemeanor battery. Darick James McKinney, age 24 and Devin Joshua Ross-Gobrick, age 32. The citizen complaint citations carry a bail amount of $1,140 each.
