The Humboldt County Rural Basketball League was back in action in Orovada.
In Division 1 (6, 7. 8 grades) action, Paradise Valley defeated Kings River 29-16.
Orovada knocked off McDermittt 47-34. Enrique Villalobos scored 20 of Orovada’s 47 points and Alex Gomez finished with 10. Tristan Bitt and Jeremiah Horn were high scorers for McDermitt with 12 points each.
In Division 2 (4,5,6 grades), McDermitt White best McDermitt Blue 21-15.
Orovada held on to beat Paradise Valley 28-26, in a game that nearly went into overtime and Kings River beat Denio/Fields 15-12.
