Michael Anthony Carroll
The 11th Judicial Court sentenced Michael Anthony Carroll to 12-36 months in prison with 180 days credit for time served. He admitted to battery with substantial bodily harm.
The Judge ordered Carroll transferred from Pershing County Jail to Nevada State Prison (NSP).

The Court continued Anthony James Garcia’s status hearing for the possession of a stolen vehicle.

Gustavo Arteaga
Gustavo Arteaga, 37, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson. The charges stem from his attempt to set fire to a structure in Imlay, NV, on Nov. 12, 2017. The gross misdemeanor is punishable by 364 days in the Pershing County Jail, a fine up to $2,000 or both.
Arteaga currently resides at the Pershing County Jail. He is under a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) hold.

The 11th Judicial provided a translator for the defendant.
The Judge will sentence Arteaga on April 2, 2018.
Leonard Zarate
