The Lowry High School wrestling team concluded its season last Friday at the NIAA State Championship in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena. The Buckaroos finished fourth as a team but was just 2.5 points of second place. Spring Creek won the state title, while Virgin Valley and Boulder City were second and third, respectively. Matthew Souza, Bryan Day, Quint Bell and Cade Billingsley finished second. Zack Peters earned a third-place finish for Lowry. Cade Bell, A.J. Gonzalez, Anthony Peterson and Joe Peterson placed fourth for the Buckaroos.
