Gary Wayne Henry pleaded guilty to unlawful trespass upon land. He was fined $100 + $95 AA and given credit for time served.

Jan. 25

Jessup Reece Morrison pleaded guilty to DUI-1. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for two years. He was given credit for 12 hours time served. He was ordered to serve the remaining 36 hours or, in the alternative, 72 hours of house arrest. The Defendant was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 Special DUI Fee. DUI School and Victim Impact Panel were both ordered. A $250 public defender fee was also imposed. The defendant is to have no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Two additional charges for no current vehicle registration and speeding were both dismissed.



Charges of domestic battery against Gary Dean Wangen Jr. were dismissed on a motion by the Humboldt County DA’s Office. The reason given was that the HCDA’s Office could not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.



George Roberson pleaded guilty to DUI-1.He He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for two years. He was given credit for 12 hours already served in jail leaving a balance of 36 hours. The defendant was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 Special DUI Fee. DUI School and Victim Impact Panel were both ordered. The defendant is to have no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Pursuant to the plea agreement, the Humboldt County DA’s office made a motion to drop charges of driving with suspended plates, stopping, standing, or parking in a prohibited place, driving on the right half of highway required, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without having evidence of current insurance. The judge granted the motion.



Reid Harlan Schwartz pleaded guilty to DUI-1. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for two years. He was given credit for two days already served. The Defendant was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 Special DUI Fee. DUI School and Victim Impact Panel were both ordered. A $250 public defender fee was also imposed. The defendant is to have no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Two additional counts, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding were both dismissed.



Jan. 26

Michael Todd Rosencrantz pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle without a drivers license and resisting a public officer. He was fined $100 + $95AA for the first charge and $1,000 + $140 for the second. He was given $500 credit for five days already served in jail. The remaining balance of $835 was suspended for six months on condition he has no further violations of the law.
