BMHS junior varsity boys split road games

The Battle Mountain High School junior varsity boys basketball team split a pair of games on the road to begin play in the Northern 2A this past weekend.

Battle Mountain lost 70-40 to West Wendover on Friday night. Santos Farias had 10 points and three rebounds and Kobe Lake added nine points and six rebounds.

Longhorns beat Bobcats

Battle Mountain rallied on Saturday afternoon to beat White Pine 44-36.  Farias had 16 points and nine rebounds and Riley Buller added nine points and six rebounds. 

Battle Mountain hosts North Tahoe on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and Incline on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
