The McDermitt High School boys basketball team dropped its fourth contest of the season against Jordan Valley 74-53 this past Monday on the road.
The Bulldogs sit at 0-4 after their loss to the Mustangs.
“We played better against Jordan Valley," said MHS coach Jack Smith. "They hit their outside shots, and our post players missed quite a few close shots. We are kind of starting over this year.”
MHS junior Jagger Hinkey notched 28 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs in the game.
Junior Ben Draunidalo brought home 12 points and seven boards. Freshman Enrique Villalobos contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds, while senior Andrew Villalobos had three points and 12 boards.
The Bulldogs traveled to the Comstock Classic for a three-day this weekend in Virginia City.
McDermitt was slated to square off against Pahranagat Valley (Alamo) on Thursday, Round Mountain and Virginia City on Friday, and Battle Mountain on Saturday.
Results of the contests were not available at press time.
