Betty Kyllo passed away on August 23, 2018. She was born on February 1,1935 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania the daughter of Leonard and Kathleen Horn.
In 1955 she married Lyle Kyllo. They were married 63 wonderful years. They traveled around the United States working on various construction and pipeline projects. In 1976 they moved to Colorado where they started a coal mine together, and in 1982 they sold the mine and moved to Winnemucca, Nevada. Then they raised horses and trained them for racing, upon selling the horses, she then became a housewife. Her hobbies were needlepoint, stained glass and other crafts of which she won several awards. Betty also loved bowling, playing bingo and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Lyle Kyllo; Sons Randal Kyllo and Jeffery Kyllo; Sister Delores Montgomery; grand-daughter Kari Kieser; grandsons Vincent Kyllo and Randal Clarence Kyllo. Two great-grandchildren Danielle and Gent Kieser. Betty is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Kathleen Horn and her son Michael Kyllo.
Services are planned on August 27 at Sonoma Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at the Winnemucca Cemetery at a later date.
