Aug. 9

Michael Douglas Burnside pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to 60 days jail with credit for 17 days time served. A felony charge of possession of a controlled substance against Burnside were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.



Marsha Morning Star Northrup pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to 60 days jail with credit for time 21 days time served with 39 days remaining to serve. A felony charge of possession of a controlled substance against Northrup were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.



August 10

Juan Jose Alvarez was found guilty of driving under the influence second offense. He was sentenced to 60 days jail with 50 days stayed for a period of 2 years, stayed jail time on the condition he serve 10 days.

As an alternative to the 10 days jail time, he can do 20 days of house arrest. He was ordered to pay a fine of $750 + $140 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. He was ordered to complete DUI school, the victim impact panel was waived.

He was ordered to have an alcohol monitor for 90 days and if he fails to complete his 90 days of monitoring, he is to go to one Alcoholics Anonymous meeting per week for 180 days.

He was ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician and no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. The DA made a motion to dismiss a charge of driving 11-20 miles per hour in excess of posted speed zone.



Misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana, intoxicated pedestrian and minor in consumption against Alan Martin Mayorga were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.



Amanda Deann Storey pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to 60 days jail with credit for 21 days served. A felony charge of possession of a controlled substance against Storey was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.



August 14

Misdemeanor charges of minor in consumption and basic speed 11-15 over against Kenadee Jo Miller were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.



A misdemeanor petit larceny charge against Trina Lynn Bricker was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.



A misdemeanor charge of petit larceny against Ashley Francis Andrews was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.



Tanya Elizabeth Reglin was found guilty of a misdemeanor charge of first offense use of cell phone while driving, she was fined $25 AA + $50.



David Ray Clark was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license is cancelled, suspended or revoked; suspended/revoked plates; operating a motor vehicle without having current insurance located therein and license required to operate motorcycle.

The charge of proof of insurance was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office. On the charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license he was fined $250 + $105 AA. For suspended/revoked plates, no fines or fees assessed. For motorcycle license required, he was ordered to pay a fine of $50 + $65 AA.

He was given credit for 2 days time served, leaving a balance of $270. The court converted the fines and fees to 27 hours of community service.
