The Battle Mountain High School boys golf team was shorthanded on its trip to Ely last week for its meet hosted by White Pine.
The Longhorns took just two golfers to meet and Brody Young led the way with a 97 to place seventh overall.
Jimmy Harris shot a 115 for Battle Mountain.
Battle Mountain returns to action on Wednesday with a trip to Jackpot
The Longhorns will be on their home course on Thursday, April 19.
