Barbara was born in St. Paul, MN where she was raised by her loving family (the Schurmeier’s). She moved West & spent most of her adult life in Nevada.
She spent the last 30 years in Winnemucca, NV caring for every stray cat in town. She is preceded in death by her parents & siblings and also by her eldest daughter Victoria Elizabeth.
She is survived by 3 children; Dawna, Kevin and Danielle. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Summer, Seazun, Holiday, Grace and Brody and 3 great grandchildren; Isaac, Christopher and Olivia. In life she loved music, books, dancing, eating (chocolate) and taking care of cats. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. May she have eternal peace and rest.
