The Battle Mountain High School girls golf team finished third at West Wendover on Wednesday, Sept. 13.
The Lady Longhorns shot a team score of 562. Lynzee Devlin placed third overall with a 113. Kennedy Soule shot a 148 and Adriana Robles (150) and Adriene Burkhart (151) rounded out the scores for Battle Mountain.
“The girls are starting to improve each week which is what every coach in any sport wants,” said BMHS coach Roger wallock. “Wendover’s course is a tough layout and all four of the girls battled the heat and the long day to perform at season average or better. Lynzee continues to medal at each event and we are hoping is on the verge of shaving 10 strokes off her game.”
Battle Mountain is scheduled to be in Elko today (Wednesday).
