Aug. 30

Brad Allen Rudolf pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI-1. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed on condition he serve two days in jail, or in the alternative, four days of house arrest. He was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 Special DUI fee, a $200 warrant/late fee was also imposed for failure to appear. Online DUI School and Victim Impact Panel ordered as the defendant lives out of state. No alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations.



Aug. 31

Travis Hunter Wilson was found not guilty at a bench trial of the charges of domestic battery.



Joel Flores was found guilty of operating a vehicle while driver’s license canceled, suspended or revoked. An additional charge of open container of alcohol in the vehicle was dismissed. He was fined $500 + $140 AA. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for four days already served or, in the alternate 60 days of house arrest with credit for four days already served.



Pursuant to negotiations, Robert Lee O’Donnell pleaded guilty to DUI-2. In return, the DA’s office agreed to make a motion to dismiss additional charges of driving on the right half of the highway required, open container of alcohol in the vehicle and no proof of insurance. O’Donnell was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 50 days stayed for two years on condition he serve 10 days. He was given credit for two days jail time already served and eight days credit for inpatient treatment time.

He was fined $750 + $140 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 Special DUI fee. Payment of fees was suspended by the court for 90 days. DUI School and Victim Impact panel waived by the court. Defendant ordered to have a breath interlock device installed on any car he drives for 12 months. No alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. No further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. The court dismissed the additional charges.



Charges against Michael Gordon Stalder for possession of a controlled substance were dismissed by the Humboldt County DA’s Office pursuant to a plea negotiation in which he agreed to plead guilty to a separate case.

Charges against Trenton Dean Crutcher of resisting a public officer and minor in possession of alcohol were dismissed on a motion by the Humboldt County DA’s Office, pursuant to negotiations related to another case.



Felony charges against Carl Ray Odoms for possession of a controlled substance were dismissed on a motion by the Humboldt County DA’s Office pursuant to negotiations in a separate misdemeanor case.



In a separate case, Carl Ray Odoms pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for 3 years. He was given credit for two days already served in jail. He was fined $200 + $105 AA + $35 special assessment fee.

He was also sentenced to 48 hours of community service and 26 sessions of batterers intervention counseling with monthly reports to the court. No alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. No further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Defendant admonished that pursuant to the domestic battery conviction, possession, shipment, transportation or possession of a firearm or ammunition may be a felony. Fines and fees for count two run concurrent to those of count one.



Sept. 1

Charges against Salvador Mendoza Pulido for domestic battery were dismissed without prejudice by the Humboldt County DA’s office.



Sept. 5

Lisa Ann Bradshaw pleaded guilty to petit larceny and injury to or destruction of property. On the petit larceny charge, she was fined $1,000 + $140 AA. She was assessed restitution in the amount of $1,425,53. Of that ammount, $250 was for merchandise not returned and $1,165.53 for a broken door at the business. The judge suspended $1,000 of the fine for six months on condition no new problems with the law and that she pays the restitution amount. Fines and fees for count two, injury or destruction of property are to run concurrent with count one.
