Mimi Charlene Deputy was born September 26, 1968 in Idaho Falls ID to Terry Deming and Cheryl Sorensen Deming and passed away at home in Winnemucca NV of natural causes on August 11, 2017.
Char was raised in Roberts Idaho with her siblings, Dustin and Miranda by their loving parents Cheryl and Randy Coy after Randy adopted Charlene and Dustin.
She attended grade school in Roberts and graduated from Rigby High School. She married Curtis Nielsen on October 17 1987.
They were blessed with the birth of their daughter Shauntae. They traveled extensively with Curtis' military service and lived in numerous places at home and abroad. Curtis and Charlene were later divorced but remained dear friends. Charlene married Jason Deputy of Paradise Valley, NV. They were later divorced.
Char is survived by her daughter Shauntae Nielsen Kenner, son-in-law Steve and grandsons, Regan and Lyden Kenner of Winnemucca NV; her parents Randy and Cheryl Coy of Winnemucca, NV; brother Dustin (Anna) Coy of University Place, WA; sister Miranda Hall of Lexington, TN; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Terry, grandparents Hadley and Vonda Sorensen of Idaho, Marion and Bonne Vanleerdam of Idaho, and Grace Deming Mott of Michigan.
The family wishes to extend their thanks for the outpouring of love and many acts of kindness from so many family member and friends, we are forever grateful for your love, you have made this difficult time easier to bear.
"People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.” For some the journey is long, some much shorter, but when we achieve our mission we are called to our heavenly sanctuary and given peace beyond all understanding.
Char achieved her mission and reached her goals. We are so proud of you Char, we will miss you every day but know we will be reunited in Paradise. Thank you for sharing your life and love with us.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the Teton Basin, Idaho.
