It was a different style of racing for the Lowry High School cross country team last Thursday in Lake Tahoe. The Buckaroos took part in the South Tahoe Retro Relays. The race is laid back with runners dressing up in costumes and combining together for a relay time on the mountain course. The Buckaroos return to action on Friday when they host their annual invitational at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course. The action begins with the elementary and junior high races and concludes with the high school action.
