Bris Edward Allen, 46, of Lovelock, died suddenly on Monday, May 1st, 2017, from injuries sustained in a fall at his Lovelock home.
Bris was born on February 25, 1971 in San Bernadino, California, and moved to Lovelock in 1994 where he met and married Shannon Smith. They had no children. Bris spent his career working as a cook and dishwasher, janitor and bus boy at Sturgeons Inn and Casino in Lovelock, and also worked at McDonalds. Bris was also a handyman.
Bris was preceded in death by his stepfather Terry Gruszka, wife Shannon Smith, and grandparents Billie and Duree Allen, and Frank and Leota Shields.
Bris is survived by his mother Betty Gruszka, his brothers Richard Allen and William Allen Jr, his aunt Mary Porter, and many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Lovelock Community Church from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a gathering of friends and family after the service.
