Freshman: Diego Villa
Diego was nominated by Mrs. Santos who says that, “Diego is a very responsible, self-motivated, and hardworking student. He goes beyond the expectations that are set for him, and is continually striving for excellence. His level of work is outstanding and deserved recognition.
Sophomore: Cynthia Alanis
Mrs. Topholm nominated Cynthia because “Cynthia is a wonderful art student and truly has the mind of an artist. She pushes herself to be more creative and it shows in every piece she creates. I am privileged to have her for both Art II and Sculpture and she is always working hard to become a better artist.”
Junior: Tierra Barela
Ms. Topholm nominated Tierra this month due to the fact that “Tierra is my TA for Sculpture and I also have her in Art II. Tierra is always willing to do whatever is asked of her and always does it with a smile. She is a hard worker in class and shows improvement with every project and it is just a pleasure to have her in class.
Senior: Matty McBride
Matty was nominated by Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Partee because Matty volunteers an enormous amount of time in the classroom on a daily basis. He is a pleasure to have as a student, bringing an inquisitive atmosphere to the classroom. He is always willing to help with anything needed whether in the class or outside the class. He dedicates most off-periods to lending a hand and adds a dose of enjoyable humor and conversation in the process.
