Mary Theresa Smith beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many has been called home, all to soon, by our heavenly father on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at the age of 75.
Mary is survived by her immediate family her loving husband Robert (Bob) Smith, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and beloved dog Meko. She is also survived by 4 siblings and a large extended family. Mary was born in Sidney Nebraska in 1942 where she resided until she met and married her husband Bob.
After Mary and Bob married they started a family, then moved to Wyoming where they resided for 20 years raising their family. Bob and Mary moved to Idaho for a short time, then they moved to Winnemucca Nevada. Where they have resided since 1992. Mary was active in donating to many community charities that she was passionate about.
Mary had many hobbies but her passion was for gardening, which was only surpassed by her love for her family. Mary had a way of making sure everyone felt welcome and loved. Mary also enjoyed flowers, visiting with family and friends. She was an indomitable spirit who was endeared by many and will be remembered for her kind heart and her soulful laugh.
A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date. A special thanks to Dr. Rolfe Schwartz and staff who cares for her beloved dog Meko whom mattered so much to her. And, a special thanks to former co-workers for their contributions of food to the family.
