The Lowry High School junior varsity baseball and softball teams collected two wins apiece in their final home games of the year on Friday against Truckee. The baseball team won game one 8-7 and rallied from a 7-0 deficit in the finale to come back and win 8-7 as well.
The Buckaroos scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a 7-4 Truckee lead. The Lady Bucks had a much easier time, claiming game one 14-0 and game two 17-2 to close out play on their home field in style. Lowry will have a busy final week on the road. The Buckaroos will make up games in South Tahoe on Thursday and finish the year on Friday in Fernley.
