Mary Jane Klassen, 74, of Winnemucca, NV passed from this life in Reno, NV on March 20, 2017 after losing a short struggle with cancer.
Mary was born in Fallon, NV on March 3, 1943 to Wayne and Mildred Hiibel. She lived in Fallon and Reno until 1974 when she moved to Winnemucca and made this her home.
Mary is survived by her sons James (Diane) Klassen of Winnemucca and John Klassen of Lovelock; grand children Daniel Klassen, Jacod Klassen, Lucas Klassen, Cody Vess, Hailey Vess and Garrett Vess; her brother Jim Hiibel of Boise, ID and her sister Waynette Lewis of Carson City, NV.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Dudley Hiibel, and Pete Hiibel her mother Mildred Casey and her father Wayne Hiibel.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 18, 2017 with Rosary at 10:30 am and Mass at 11:00 am at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church in Winnemucca, NV with burial to follow at the Winnemucca Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Sonoma Funeral Home. 775-623-2986
