Humboldt County Pets at the Pound

The following animals were recently picked up by animal control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at (775) 623-6403 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (775) 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog’s description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



March 8

A male black and tan miniature pincher was picked up on Saturn.

A female white and gray Husky was picked up at the Boys & Girls Club. *Reclaimed

A female tri colored Aussie/Border Collie mix was surrendered to shelter.



March 9

A female black and tan German Shepherd mix was surrendered to shelter.



March 10

A male tan and white Collie mix was picked up on Alice Ln. *Reclaimed

A male brindle Pit/German Shepherd mix was picked up on Nugget/Jupiter.



March 12

A male black and white Husky was picked up at Maverick (fairgrounds).



March 13

A black Lab mix was picked up on Construction Way.



If you are looking for a canine friend to adopt, please call us at (775) 623-6403. Dogs are available for viewing every day from 8 a.m. — 4 p.m.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
