The Eleanor Lemaire Junior High boys and girls Shorthorn "A Team" Basketball teams each brought back a second-place trophy from the annual Tonopah Invitational on Feb. 10-11.
The Shorthorn girls played six games over the weekend and fought hard against Eureka in the championship game. The Shorthorn boys played seven games over the two days and also fought hard against Eureka in the championship game. Congratulations to all the players and coaches on a great season.
