Obituary: Doyle Clay Hall

Doyle Clay Hall passed away at his home in Yerington on Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was 64.

Doyle was born in Del Norte, Colorado on November 6, 1952 the son of John and Virginia Hall. He graduated from Yerington High School in 1971. He married his high school sweetheart in 1973.

Doyle and his family moved to Winnemucca in 1978, where they lived until he retired from NV Energy in 2008, and moved back to Yerington.

Doyle enjoyed many activities, but what he enjoyed most in life was spending time with his family and working in his yard with his dog by his side. He was our rock, our strength, and our protector. He was there to support us and always found a way to pull us through tough times. He was our #1 cheerleader and coach.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, SallyAnn (Ruddell), daughter Mandy Hall, son Brian Hall and siblings Lee (Nina) Hall, Eric Davies, Darren (Tolli) Davies, Donna (Robert) Keeling, brother in law Scott (Tanya) Ruddell, and sister in law Joella (Roger) Tiscareno and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father John M. Hall, mother Virginia (Aydelotte) Davies, sister Sonja (Plane) and brother Drew Hall.
