Humboldt County Pets at the Pound

The following animals were recently picked up by animal control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at (775) 623-6403 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (775) 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog’s description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



Feb. 21

A male black Lab/Chow mix was picked up on Old Tollhouse Rd.

A female black Lab/Chow was picked up on Old Tollhouse Rd.

A male tri colored Corgi was picked up on Old Tollhouse Rd. *Adopted



Feb. 22

A male red and white Aussie mix was picked up on Trails End.

A male black Pit mix was picked up on Sycamore.



Feb. 23

A male tan and white Collie mix was picked up on Zaring.

A male black and white Husky mix was picked up on Rainbow Rd.

Feb. 24

A male gold Yorkie was surrendered to shelter.



Feb. 25

A male gray Pit Bull was picked up o Wendy Way.



Feb. 26

A male brindle Shepherd/Pit was a citizen drop off at shelter.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
