The Winnemucca Boys and Girls Club was a busy place last week, as young girls came out for the annual Lowry Girls Basketball Camp. The girls received coaching and teaching from players off the various Lowry girls basketball teams. For the first time this year, first and second graders took part in the camp. Girls in third through sixth-grade also took part in the camp. The focus on the camp was top focus on fundamentals and learning the characteristics of Lowry High School basketball. The older group of campers focused on more experienced drills.
