Ted Russel Armstrong, 80, of Winnemucca passed away at home with his family on June 6, 2017 of natural causes. Ted was born on March 9, 1937 in Coodys Bluff, OK to Ida and Russel Armstrong and later married Sharon Lee. He received his Bachelors of Art in Drafting from Oklahoma Vo Tech and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force in Germany. Ted and his family settled in Winnemucca where he was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a member of Amazing Facts. He is survived by his wife Shay Armstrong; his sons Bryon, Richard and Martin (Candy) Armstrong; his grandchildren Brittany, Cody and Shanna Armstrong; his brothers Charlie, Paul David, Kenneth and Joe Armstrong and his sister Betty. Shay would like to thank her sons and daughter in law, my sister Pat, Myron and Jimmy and Shawn for all his service and the Grass Valley EMS. A Memorial Service will be held for Ted on June 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sonoma Funeral Home in Winnemucca, NV. In lieu of flowers please donate to Amazing Facts in Teds name.
