Charges of first-offense domestic battery against Henry David Kingman were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as Kingman has completed the requirements of a deferred prosecution agreement whereby he has had no further problems with the law and has provided proof that he obtained counseling.

Ashley Kristin McHenry pleaded no contest to the charge of domestic battery, first offense. She was fined $200 + $105 AA + $35 special assessment fee. She was given $100 credit for each of 3 days already spent in jail. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for two years. She is allowed to discharge her jail time with 48 hours of community service. She must complete 26 weeks of batterers intervention counseling with monthly reports to the court. Counseling required in this case will run concurrent to counseling ordered in a separate case. An order for no contact with the victim was lifted.
Timothy Steven Burroughs pleaded guilty to DUI-1. In return for his guilty plea, the DA’s office agreed to dismiss additional charges of failure to drive within marked lanes, use of a cellphone while driving, speeding, and driving with a suspended/revoked plate. On the DUI-1 charge, Prather was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a year. He was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. Burroughs was ordered to complete DUI School and a Victim Impact Panel. No alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. No further criminal activity.
