Lowry girls basketball camp set for later in the month

The Lowry High School girls basketball team will be holding a camp June 19-22 at the Boys and Girls Club of Winnemucca.

The camp is run by Lady Buckaroo varsity head coach Chelsea Cabatbat, veteran coaches on her staff and members of the Lowry girls basketball team.

Come join the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Northern 3A regional, and academic champions. The Lady Bucks were the 2017 state runner-up.

This camp will focus on fundamentals and learning the characteristics of Lowry High School basketball.

Whether or not your daughter has ever played, she is bound to have fun in our welcoming atmosphere filled with a balanced mix of fundamentals and fun.

The staff brings a wealth of basketball knowledge, drills and enthusiasm designed to help young players increase their basketball fundamentals and overall knowledge of the game.

Incoming first through second graders will go from 8 a.m. — 9:30 a.m. at a cost of $35. Incoming third through fourth graders will go from 10 a.m. — noon ($45) and fifth through sixth graders go from 1 p.m. — 3:30 p..m. ($50). The cost includes a T-shirt.
