Humboldt County Pets at the Pound

The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog’s description, license number and general area in which it was lost.

May 31

A female gray and white Terrier mix was taken to shelter.

A male black and white Border Collie/Dalmation was surrendered to shelter.

A female blue Pit was taken to shelter.

A male white and tan Bull Terrier/Mastiff mix was surrendered to shelter.

June 1

A female black and white Pit mix was picked up on Prairie Dog

A male white Bulldog mix was picked up on Mizpah.



June 5

A female black Retriever mix was picked up on Stratus.



June 6

A male tri colored Terrier mix was picked up on Monroe.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
