Edgar Isaias Rodas pleaded guilty to driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked, failure to use a seat belt and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. The DA’s office dismissed additional counts of no proof of insurance and no registration. Combined fines and fees totaled $1,400. The defendant was given credit of $100 per day for four days served in jail leaving a balance of $1,000.
Three separate counts of domestic violence against Lindsey David Tom were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office. The victim in the case was not present. Judge Letty Norcutt dismissed the cases.
Charges against Edgar Isaias Arodas of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
Reagan Rae Fransway pleaded no contest to charges of petit larceny and resisting a public officer. The DA’s office recommended 30 days in jail with credit for time already served. Judge Norcutt sentenced Fransway to 60 days in jail on count one and 60 days in jail for count two, to run concurrently. The defendant received credit for 15 days already served in jail. The remaining 45 days were suspended for one year provided the defendant complies with the conditions of mental health court and does not purchase, possess, or drink alcohol.
Joel Flores pleaded guilty to DUI-1. Flores was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee with $100 Special DUI Fee. Victim Impact Panel and DUI School were ordered. No alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. No further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. The defendant was also charged a $250 public defender fee.
In a negotiated plead agreement, Michael Dallas Rowley pleaded guilty to DUI-1 and failure to register as a convicted felon. The DA’s office agreed to drop four additional charges, including having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, resisting a public officer, speeding, not obtaining resident license, and failure to obey a traffic control device. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year on condition he serve 2 days – with credit for time already served. For DUI-1 he was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee and $100 special DUI fee. He was given credit of $300 for 3 additional days already served in jail. He was given permission to pay his fine or work it off with community service.
On the charge of convicted felon failure to register, he was fined $500 + $140 AA. That fine will run concurrent to the fines for count one. The defendant is not currently employed, and Assistant Public Defender, Ms McQuillan, agreed to waive the public defender fee.

Kyle Gene Crutcher pleaded guilty to DUI, failure to maintain traffic lane and improper turn on a highway. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for one year on condition he serve two days in jail. He was given credit for one day jail time already served. He was allowed the choice to substitute community service for his remaining day in jail. He was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 Forensic Fee + $100 Special DUI Fee. He was also allowed to substitute community service for some or all of his fines. He was ordered to complete DUI School and Victim Impact Panel. No alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. No further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. Fines and fees for counts two and three are to run concurrent to the DUI fines and fees.
The DA’s Office moved for a one-time dismissal of charges against Shandee Michelle Sullivan for DUI-1 and driving on the right half of the road required. Deputy DA Nicholas Zicari cited evidentiary issues with their case.
