She born in Sterling, Colorado August 29, 1937, to John Edward LeVelley and Viola Arteresta (Mayfiled) LeVelley. She married Leonard Lyon in Colfax New Mexico
Johann lived in the Colorado cities of Sterling, Brush, Ft. Morgan, in the California city of Half Moon Bay, and in the Nevada cities of Ruth, Elko, Reno and Winnemucca. She worked at Numerous Ranches in Colorado with her Father and Mother, the Star Broiler, J.C. Penny, News Stand where she became Mom to half the town of Winnemucca. She was the owner and operator Happy Lyon Ceramics and Macramé.
She was a member of Western Star, Daughters of the Nile. Her hobbies included: Fishing, Hunting, Gardening, Ceramics, Macramé, Spoiling grand Children, Great Grand Children, Great Great grand Children.
Johann is survived by Brother William (Bill) and Kelly LeVelley of Woodville, TX, Son Michel Lyon of Winnemucca, Nevada, Son Lorne Lyon and Debra (Kearns) Lyon of Winnemucca, Nevada, Daughter Lenora and Rick Madrid of Winnemucca, Nevada. Grand Children Michel Lyon and Mindy Lyon of Tremonton, Utah, Brandy Leija And Leo Leija of Williston, North Dakota, Larteresta Lyon And Kelly Lyon of Spring Creek, Nevada, Lorna Elms and Cody Elms of Winnemucca Nevada, Jiovanni Madrid Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Great Grand Children Herrlee Lyon, Bercall Lyon, Okley Lyon, Hudson Lyon, Jhett Lyon, Mikaleila Whittekiend, Dario Leija, Angelina Leija, Levi Leija, James Meta, Tarron Mets, Annika Elms, Kadence Elms, Great Great Grand Children Tiffiny Whittekiend, Vlad Whittekiend.
Johann was preceded in Death by her Parents John and Viola LeVelley, Husband Leonard Lyon of 54 years, Sister Rosemary LeVelley, Grand Son Levi Lyon.
