Northern Nevada Arts Council and Missoula Children’s Theatre will present their final acting workshop of the season with “Cinderella” July 24 – 29.
Auditions will take place Monday, July 24 at 10 a.m. Rehearsals will take place Monday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. There will also be free workshops Tuesday through Thursday from 2:45 to 3 p.m. Dress rehearsal will be Saturday July 29 at 10 a.m. with the final performances of “Cinderella” that same day at 3 and 7 p.m.
All auditions, rehearsals, workshops and performances will be held in the Lowry High School auditorium.
The cost is $25 for first child in the family, $20 each for additional children in same family. DVDs and T-shirts will be available for purchase from the directors.
Children must be available for all rehearsals and performances; rehearsal time is short and the children learn a lot, so any absences will affect the quality of the entire performance. Children should bring a sack lunch and bottled water each day, as they will be at rehearsal over lunchtime, which is noon to 12:30. There usually isn’t enough time for children to go off-campus for lunch and return in time to start afternoon rehearsals. All rehearsals will start promptly on time.
