Humboldt County School Board will be meeting Tuesday, July 25 at 4:30 p.m. The agenda opens with an opportunity for public comment and then an update from HCSD Superintendent, Dr. Dave Jensen followed by approval of the warrants.
Discussion items on which action may be taken:
• Review of staffing for the coming school year
• Update on summer maintenance/construction projects and possible acceptance of asphalt bid
• Review of the central office organization chart
• Review and input on the draft District Strategic Plan
• Review of key legislative issues impacting public education
• Review of 2016-21017 bullying data by school site
There will be a closed session toward the end of the meeting for the board to discuss negotiations with the employee organizations.
A second opportunity for public comment and reports from school board members will follow the closed session.
School board meetings are held upstairs on the Fourth Street side of Winnemucca Junior High School.
