The Winnemucca 11-12-year-old Little League All-Stars are currently in Elko for the District 3 Tournament.
The tournament begins on Friday with Winnemucca taking on host Elko. If Winnemucca wins that game, they will play the winner of Ruby Mountain (Spring Creek) and Walker River (Yerington) Saturday at 7 p.m.
A loss drops Winnemucca to the losers bracket against either Ruby Mountain or Walker River at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Hawthorne and Silverada (Dayton) and White Pine (Ely) and Battle Mountain will play in the other first-round games Friday.
The winners of those games play at 5 p.m. on Saturday and the losers face each other at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The championship semifinal will be held Monday at 7 p.m. and the championship is set for Wednesday at 5 p.m.
If needed, a second title game will take place at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The winner advances to the state tournament in Las Vegas.
