Reno Bighorns to host basketball clinic in Winnemucca

RENO — The Reno Bighorns will host a basketball clinic at the Boys and Girls Club of Winnemucca on Tuesday, July 26, and Wednesday, July 27 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

The clinic will give players ages 6-14 the opportunity to become directly involved with the Bighorns organization. Registration is $80.

Bighorns head coach and 13-year NBA veteran Darrick Martin will lead the clinic, along with Bighorns assistant coaches.

The goal of the two-day clinic is to provide each camper with the fundamentals of basketball, educate about the game basketball and enhance conditioning skills of each player.

Each participant will receive a Bighorns t-shirt, Bighorns swag, two tickets to a 2017-18 contest and a certificate of participation. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day of the clinic.

The clinic is limited to 100 youth. Each clinic member should bring their own water bottle, snacks, and wear basketball attire. To register for the camp, interested persons should visit renobighorns.com.
