Obituary: Daina Michelle Rash Scherbenske

Daina Michelle Rash Scherbenske went home to live forever with our Lord Jesus Christ on June 14, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family.

Daina was born on February 23, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nevada, but grew up in Fallon, Nevada. She graduated from Churchill County High School with the class of 1982. Daina has lived for the last 12 years in Winnemucca, Nevada.

Daina is survived by her husband, Mike, sons Jeremy and James Iacovelli, James’ wife Jillian, her parents Max and Haskellen Rash, her brother Hoby Rash, and her sister Darlene Frenette. Daina’s granchildren Allison, Isaac and Bayleigh were her joy and delight. Daina enjoyed camping, riding her Harley with her husband Mike, and enjoyed the company of her dogs. Daina lived with a zeal for life that always expressed itself in a tenacious passion for helping anyone with a need, and for caring for her family.

Those who knew and love Daina are invited to join in a celebration of her life to be held at the County Church (755 S. Crook Rd., Fallon, NV 89406) on July 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please bring a photo memory or a written note of your memories of her.
